Rickie Comeaux
Rickie's path into the tech world began when computers were still the domain of pioneers and visionaries. Armed with a passion for emerging technology and an entrepreneurial mindset, Rickie embarked on a career that would see him become a key player in the industry's transformation.
Starting in the early '80s at PJC Computer Consulting in New Iberia, Rickie was at the forefront of the revolution, working with IBM mainframes and later embracing the advent of personal computing. His drive to innovate led him to establish Comeaux Computer Consultants in 1986, where he spent a decade revolutionizing the way businesses in the Acadiana region of South Louisiana approached technology.
In 1996, Rickie took on the roles of account executive and later sales manager for a computer training franchise in Lafayette, where he further honed his expertise. This experience paved the way for his entrepreneurial venture in October 1999, when he established LANTEC’s Baton Rouge headquarters.
Rickie’s leadership style is hands-on. He is driven by a passion for the fast-paced environment at LANTEC, where he thrives on daily interactions with the team he has carefully built. Known for his "never-quit" mentality, sense of humor, and generous spirit, Rickie has cultivated a unique and vibrant company culture.
Under Rickie’s vision and direction, LANTEC has grown and thrived in the competitive training market, expanding its services beyond Louisiana to every state and U.S. territory abroad. Whether online, on-site, or at one of its three locations in Lafayette, Baton Rouge, and New Orleans, LANTEC is committed to providing accessible education that meets students where they are. Rickie lives in Arnaudville with his wife, Becky, and they are proud parents to three children, two grandchildren, and numerous dogs.
