Christy Brasseaux

Christy joined LANTEC in August 2000 as the Director of Marketing & Special Projects for the headquarters location in Baton Rouge. After assisting LANTEC with branding and name recognition following our departure from a previous franchise organization, Christy assumed responsibility as Operations Manager in 2002. Her main duties at that time included courseware selection and procurement, staff development, and HR functions. Promotions along the way include Vice President of Operations and her current role as Chief Operating Officer in 2009.

Now, she focuses on LANTEC’s expansion into new market territories, including Lafayette in 2006, Lake Charles (2009-2012), and New Orleans in 2019. Since 2012, Christy’s priority has been developing and supporting LANTEC’s federal customer base through our General Services Administration Multiple Award Schedule, a purchasing vehicle through which US government agencies can procure our training services. This 20-year contract has introduced our small business to scores of public buyers and afforded us the privilege of delivering LANTEC training globally to DoD audiences worldwide.

Christy is a lifelong native of south Louisiana, a 1994 cum laude alumna of USL, and a faithful LSU football fan. Her spare time is spent entertaining family and friends at Toledo Bend Reservoir and enjoying water activities with her beloved golden retrievers.
