Course Description:

Turn your best AI prompts into reusable tools for everyday business tasks. This hands-on, instructor-led course teaches participants how to build and refine AI agents using Microsoft Copilot Agent Builder.

Through realistic workplace exercises, participants learn to write clear instructions, connect relevant reference materials, and configure agents to support tasks such as business communications, recurring reports, research, customer feedback analysis, and marketing content.

Emphasis is placed on responsible use, clear boundaries, and testing outputs for accuracy and consistency. Participants finish with a capstone activity in which they design and build an agent for a workplace task.

Course Objectives:

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Identify business tasks that could benefit from a reusable AI agent.

  • Write structured prompts and convert them into reusable instructions.

  • Build and configure agents using Microsoft Copilot Agent Builder.

  • Use reference documents to guide an agent’s responses.

  • Test and refine agent behavior, including responses to incomplete information.

  • Recognize Agent Builder’s limitations and when more advanced tools may be appropriate.
